Christmas for Us

blue dawn

The day began before dawn for me to get the turkey in the oven.

By mid-afternoon thirteen of us were sitting down to a table full of food. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Omer was happy with meat and cranberry sauce. The youngest, Matthew, grazed his way through the pickles and grape tomatoes. For sure no one went hungry.

People moved along to playing with the Lionel trains, watching videos, sledding and then dessert. Sean played his penny whistle, Verily wanted to learn how to knit, so we took a stab at that. Lots of activity followed by pumpkin bars and Knox Blox.

Merry Christmas to all!
